I'm using several websites to do the majority of my searching. Www.new.familysearch.org which is free, you can build your own family tree, search, etc. it's format is awesome!! Www.ancestry.com through the Family History Centers that are provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, it's free, no you don't have to be a member to go in! The people there will help you with whatever they can! You can pay for ancestry.com but it's not the cheapest, and the familysearch website has almost the exact same info. you just can't print some of the censuses, passengers lists, etc. because they belong to ancestry.com.....
www.familysearch.org, the older one of family search. It's format is different, but still very helpful!!
Google on occasion, I found the information about A.T and W.P McIntyre using Google, but as far as names go, it mainly leads me to the above mentioned webpages.
This blog is to provide my family history for other's and a record for myself. I've hit somewhat of a road block as of recently, and I'm trying to find more of my ancestors. Any help or advice would be appreciated! My dad always use to tell me and my sisters, that your sisters always come first!
Using Google can lead you to some unique sites and take to places you may not have thought of. You just need to use advance search methods and you'll be surprised what you might get.
